BIOGF1K, a compound K-rich fraction prepared from the root of Panax ginseng is widely applied in cosmetic purpose in Korea. We firstly investigated the functional mechanisms of anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidative activities of BIOGF1K by discovering target enzymes through various molecular studies.

The effect of Korean Red Ginseng extract on rosiglitazone-induced improvement of glucose regulation in diet-induced obese mice
Korean Red Ginseng extract (KRG, Panax ginseng Meyer) and its constituents have been used for the treatment of diabetes. However, it remains unclear whether KRG can enhance the glucose-lowering action of rosiglitazone (ROSI), a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma synthetic activator, in diet-induced obese mice.
